Who said you have to spend more money to get in shape? Check out some super inexpensive ways to lose weight and eat healthily:

I don’t care what you say, nothing beats clean, fresh, free water. Water not only wakes up your metabolism, but it also increases your energy level almost immediately. It promotes weight loss, flushes out toxins, improves your complexion, maintains regularity, boosts the immune system, prevents cramps and sprains, puts you in a good mood, and saves you money!

Breathing is free, too! Learning simple breathing exercises can improve your energy level, slow your heart rate, clear your lungs, reduce anxiety, and strengthen your diaphragm. They are simple to perform and can be done anywhere, whether you’re on a bus or sitting at your desk in the middle of the day. Within just a few days of doing these exercises, you will begin to notice positive changes in your physical and mental health.

Yes! I’m a fan of online workouts. As a frequent traveler, I have to get in my workouts whenever and wherever possible. Find a fitness expert who matches your energy level and activity style. I love dancing, so I watch Keaira LaShae’s SuperheroFitnessTV channel. She is lively and upbeat as a choreographer, incorporating hip-hop, sexy chair dances, and booty-popping into everything she does. Love her!

Don’t have money for a trainer or a gym membership? Take a stroll around your neighborhood or even walk back and forth in your own backyard. The point is to get up and move your body!

Many don’t believe me when I tell them this, but one of my favorite things to do after a long day is to come home, close my blinds, change my clothes, turn on some music, and just dance.
I don’t turn on any lights, I feel my way around, and I just do what comes naturally to me. It releases something in me that had just been suppressed all day, but when I hit that door, I know it will all come out through dancing. No audience is necessary.

Thoughts like this will lead you back to your mission of eating fresh food. So, the question should be, “What are the ingredients needed to make salsa anyway?”
You’ll soon find out that a little jar of salsa can be made with just one large tomato and a few other simple ingredients for half the price. You do the math.

Everyone has that one friend who boasts about being in the gym all the time. Hit them up and say hey, ‘you got any buddy passes’? More than likely the answer is yes.
Many gyms allow each member at least two guest passes a month.
Not to mention, if you’ve never been there, you can walk in by yourself and simply tell them you want to learn more about their gym and if there’s any way you can try them out first before you sign up, more than likely the answer will be yes!
Every weekend, I look for what’s going on downtown or in my community, and most of it is free! I recently found out that the YMCA now offers CrossFit for free.
Who would’ve known this? Apparently, it’s all in your local newspaper, sites, and local news. Start tuning in, you just might be missing out on a lot of free opportunities.
