I was honored to be, in this position initially just because, I hadn't been very vocal about, my experience with prostate cancer and overcoming it. but, you know, the more I thought about it and the more I talked to other men about it, the more you get to encourage other men that are going through it. it's, it's just been an honor in getting to speak with guys like Montel Jordan through his journey and, and, and being here with my son. You know, it's, it-- That's what w- That's why it's, I'm here is because it's really about legacy. It's about, what we wanna preserve in terms of, our family heritage and be, just be present.
Just be pre My father, thirteen years before I beat it, he beat it, and I remember when, when this process wasn't as popular. It was, it was hadn't been as proven, and he went through it. And that was inspiring to us. It showed how much that, he really cared about his legacy and, and us. So that was really why I kept, updated with my health and my, you know, wellness and screening and, and, it's just a blessing that I can stand here today, healed and, and, thank, I thank God that, that He's gotten me here.
